Born and raised in India, Ankush moved to NZ at the age of 17. After completing his Diploma in Electrical Engineering from MIT Manukau in 2011, he started working as an Electrical Service Technician (EST). With 5 years of experience as an EST, Ankush decided to pursue a full electrical apprenticeship with a major electrical contractor in Auckland.

After obtaining his Electrician license in 2019, he worked on significant electrical projects such as supermarkets, schools, high-rise residential, and commercial buildings. He gained experience as an Electrical Foreman, overseeing projects involving Auckland Council and NZTA street lighting, traffic light intersections, and Intelligent Traffic Systems. Ankush is currently registered as an Electrical Inspector with EWRB.

Having lived in NZ for almost 15 years, he has made Pukekohe, NZ, his home and decided to establish Proper Electrical Works Limited, providing electrical services across the Auckland and North Waikato Region.
